As has often occurred at this same time and place in previous years, we will be gathering in person, weather permitting, at the flagpole memorial in Clifton Commons for the National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 7th from noon to 1pm.
As you are well aware, seldom have the prayers of the saints been more necessary for the well-being of our nation.
Please note that this will be a peaceful and lawful assembly, not a protest of any kind. There is no motive of civil disobedience, but only one of divine obedience. We are not gathering to petition the government but rather to petition the King of Kings for the repentance, forgiveness, and healing of our land.
We respect the prerogatives of those who feel that an outdoor in-person gathering is not advisable at this time. If you are in any way concerned for your own health or are concerned that your presence might endanger the health of others, or have any other reason why you do not support an in-person gathering for the National Day of Prayer, we encourage you to remain at home during this time.
We look forward to praying with you on Thursday!
